INVESTMENT LIMITS OF FOREIGN PORTFOLIO INVESTORS

The Reserve Bank of India has issued a circular bearing No. RBI/2019-220-214 AP Circular dated 30 dated April 15, 2020 clarifying that the aggregate investment limits of foreign portfolio investors in government securities and state development loans will remain unchanged at 6% and 2% respectively, of the outstanding stocks of securities for the FY 2020-21. In other words, these figures remain unchanged from the previous financial year 2019-20.
