Shreyas Gupta is a Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., bringing over 10 years of focused experience in Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Debt Restructuring, and Banking & Finance. His practice spans the full spectrum of IBC matters, where he regularly represents leading banks and financial institutions, insolvency professionals, resolution applicants, and both strategic and financial investors.

He has been part of several landmark and high-value insolvency resolutions, including Bhushan Power & Steel, Reliance Communications, Jaiprakash Associates, Gstaad Hotels, Jyoti Structures, Hotel Horizon, KSK Mahandi and SEL Manufacturing, amongst others. His work in these matters has involved complex stakeholder negotiations, litigation strategy, and end-to-end execution of resolution / liquidation processes.

In addition to his insolvency practice, Shreyas has substantial experience in debt restructuring and structured lending transactions, where he advises clients on deal structuring, documentation, and regulatory considerations.

Shreyas has also successfully completed the INSOL International Future Leaders Programme 2025 reflecting his continued interest in emerging developments within the insolvency space. He remains engaged with issues across the IBC landscape is actively involved in thought leadership on contemporary issues in insolvency and restructuring.
