Shreya is a dual qualified lawyer (India and England & Wales) specialising in restructuring and insolvency. She is currently based in Singapore, and advises clients across the capital structure on cross-border R&I matters.
She has previously advised clients on both contentious and non-contentious R&I matters in India, including in the insolvency resolution processes of Jaypee Infratech and Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd.
Shreya was also closely involved with the implementation of the Indian Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. She advised the Indian Government and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India on the design and drafting of amendments to the Code as well as the rules and regulations thereunder.
