Mariam Zaidi, currently working as a Senior Legal Counsel working in the centralised dispute resolution and litigation team at Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Limited based in Mumbai handling matters of the wholesale financial services of Piramal Group. I have expertise in matters regarding Restructuring and Insolvency including both in-court and out of court. I have advised and represented various foreign and domestic creditors, insolvency professionals and stressed funds under the insolvency laws. I was selected by the Global Restructuring Review as one of the world's rising stars for "40 under 40" 2022 within the cross-border restructuring community. Recently I was selected by INSOL for the Future Leaders Programme for India 2023. I am a NextGen member of the International Insolvency Institute and Chair of the Emerging Scholars Group of Insolvency Law Institute. I have conducted various global podcasts on insolvency organised by INSOL and International Insolvency Institute and have been a panellist in various international conferences.
