Hitesh Goel is a distinguished Insolvency Professional (IBBI Registered), Chartered Accountant and MBA–Finance (NMIMS) with over 18 years of experience in business turnaround, debt resolution, restructuring and financial strategy. He has successfully resolved and restructured more than INR 25,000 crores of debt across real estate, power, automobile, textile and manufacturing sectors, and has led multiple high-stake CIRPs including some of India’s largest and most complex insolvency cases. Known for his ability to stabilize distressed companies, restore financial d8iscipline, drive operational transformation and obtain resolution, Hitesh is recognized for his leadership in managing multi-stakeholder, legally intensive and time-sensitive mandates.
Hitesh has managed landmark mandates including Supertech Limited (~INR 10,000 Cr), where he is overseeing one of India’s largest real estate CIRPs involving thousands of homebuyers and got the resolution approved from Hon’ble NCLAT within a period of 2 years (currently before Hon’ble SC); Bhadreshwar Vidyut Pvt. Ltd. (~INR 3500 Cr), a 2x150 MW thermal power plant where he achieved a breakthrough resolution of a shut-down power plant by finding strong successor Jindal Group and getting desired recovery of the lender group; Nobility Estates (~INR 2000 Cr), an ATS Group real estate project company, where he successfully completed construction of more than 75% dwelling units during the CIRP period itself. His other mandates include Eicher Polaris (Voluntary Liquidator) and Anandtex International (Liquidator – Sec 230). Prior to this, Hitesh was also involved in the insolvency resolution process of Jaypee Infratech Limited (~INR 20,000 Cr assets), one of the most sensitive and complex real estate and infrastructure insolvencies. Across these assignments, he has led operations, finance, recovery strategy, compliance, litigation management, governance, and value maximization for lenders and stakeholders.
Before transitioning into insolvency management, Hitesh built a strong foundation in financial strategy and deal execution through leadership roles at KPMG (Associate Director – Deal Advisory), where he led PE raises, acquisitions and sector-focused transactions across F&B;, luxury retail, power, auto and industrial sectors and contributed to 150% business growth in the Middle East region; PKC Advisory, where he handled corporate finance and PE mandates; J.P. Morgan, where he worked on capital structuring and debt issuance across APAC; and Grant Thornton, where he managed statutory and IFRS audits for large corporates.
