Aashit is an equity partner at J. Sagar Associates (a leading Indian law firm) and chairs the firm’s Finance Practice.
He regularly advises creditors and Indian borrowers on complex and structured credit facilities. He is actively involved in navigating various stakeholders through the intricacies of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 as well as advising creditors, asset reconstruction companies and potential investors on out-of-court debt restructurings, one-time settlements and refinancings. Additionally, he has counselled several investors and corporates in the burgeoning private credit market in India.
